Likewise,
teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live,
not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach
what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love
their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure,
to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their
husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Titus
2:3-5 (NIV)
Our Mission Statement
To give the women of Chandler Christian
Church the opportunity to experience joy and growth in
their Christian lives by participating in one-on-one supporting
and encouraging mentoring friendships. A mentor will be
a woman who is a practicing Christian, regularly attends
Chandler Christian Church, and has the desire to let her
life be an example and godly role model. A mentee will
be an attender who is younger in her walk in the Lord
or her life. Women of all ages are welcome. The scriptural
foundation is Titus 2:3-5, where we are told to teach
and guide the next generation of Christian women in how
to live the life of a godly woman.
Current Activities

One-on-one mentoring is a powerful way for women to learn

participating are prayerfully placed in mentoring relationships.

Many of our Mentors and Mentees are in Bible studies together

Testimonials
“What
a wonderful opportunity mentoring has been for me. It
has given me the chance to make new friends at church
and to share with others the joy of the Lord. We’ve
done fun things together; book studies and Bible studies,
and learned so much from each other. I encourage every
woman at Chandler Christian Church to give it a try!”
— Jan Barrington
“The
Woman to Woman Mentoring Ministry provides a great way
to meet other women who have the same desire to grow in
their walk with the Lord and deepen their friendships
with each other. Going through the training to be a mentor
helped me to look at my other relationships and focus
on making them more purposeful. This ministry is a great
place to find encouragement, accountability and strong,
lasting friendships. Try it out, I’m sure God will
bless you through it! — Kris Pelican
“Becoming
a member of the Woman-to-Woman Mentoring Ministry allowed
me to meet and relate to other women in closer, more personal,
in-depth relationships than my other church relationships
had allowed. It has been a great blessing in my life to
build, and continue to build, relationships with other
women.” — Sharman Hart
