October 8-12, 2015 | Los Angeles, CA
CCSM’s High School Ministry will be partnering with Center for Student Missions (CSM) in Los Angeles for an inner city mission trip October 8-12, 2015.
CSM exists to provide an effective urban ministry experience that transforms lives, influences churches and communities, and honors Christ.
On this trip, students will experience firsthand the sights, sounds, smells, and textures of urban life, including eating at local ethnic restaurants. Students will also learn about the city – unique issues and problems within the community and what God is doing to foster and further His Kingdom in the city, through organizations that operate on the front lines of urban ministry. Finally, students will become part of the solutions for the city – by offering time, energy and sweat as they support these ministry sites. CSM plugs groups into a variety of hands-on ministry opportunities to ensure that their time in the city is spent supplying substantive help to God’s people in the city.
CSM supplies each group with a City Host who has been trained to handle both the logistics of the trip and help groups process what they’re experiencing.
The cost of this trip is $300. This amount covers transportation, along with food and housing in Los Angeles. Students will be responsible for the cost of food while traveling to and from Los Angeles. We encourage students to raise support for this trip and are happy to provide guidance in doing so.
Spots are limited for this trip. If interested in participating, please download and complete the Mission Trip Application below. Completed applications should be sent to email@example.com. The Student Ministry team will review all applications before determining the final team.
