Living is noisy. Horns honk, Ipods play, computers
beep, video games talk, people scream, jets roar, politicians
promise, TV’s blare…sometimes it gets so
loud “you can’t hear yourself think!”
And when life gets this loud…it is really difficult
to hear the still, small voice of God as He speaks to
you. In this series we’ll try to deal with a few
of the issues that make LIFE NOISY! We’ll try
to give some Biblical and practical “Noise Reduction
earphones” so we can reduce the decibels from
this world allowing us to move through life victoriously.

Equalizing the Noise
A popular commercial says, “Life comes at you
fast!” And it does…work stuff…home
stuff…kids stuff…errand stuff…life
stuff just keeps us all moving and a hectic pace that
is so demanding that it gets LOUD! The problem is…we
have no choice…we all have to live. So how do
we keep life in balance and equalize it’s “noise”
so we can live the abundant life God wants for us?

Noise Pollution!
The Market is up…the market is down. Bills are
up…income is down. I have to have this…I
have to have that. My house is worth lots more…it’s
not worth as much as…. And on and on it goes.
Sometimes the cost of living SCREAMS at us and we can’t
hear anything else…even God! So how do we live
successfully so that we don’t let financial “noise
pollution” dominate our lives?

Soundproofing Life!
Terrorism…MRSA Virus…Recession…Cancer…
Iran with The Bomb…$4/gallon gas…Bankruptcy…Marriage
Failure…Job loss…and the list goes on. These
are fears that we all deal with. At times, it’s
overwhelming! They ring in our ears, pound in our heads,
disturb our sleep and create so much “NOISE”
that we can’t think straight, let alone hear God.
How do we deal with that every present “buzz”
of fear in this world?
