First Impressions
Greet and/or check in new guests with children.
Serving time: Before weekend services, on a rotation

 

Information Setup/Teardown Team
Set up and/or tear down Information Center.
Serving time: Saturday mornings or Sunday mornings, 1-4 times/month

 

Information Team Member
Help people find information about the church or ministries.
Serving time: Before and after services, 1-4 times/month

 

Traffic Team Member
Help with traffic control and parking. Minimum age 18.
Serving time: Between and after services, 1-4 times/month

 

Medical Personnel
Provide medical coverage during services and special events.
Serving time: 1-4 times/month

 

Office, Weekend Receptionist
Answer the phones.
Serving time: Sundays 8:00 – 12:00 PM, on a rotation

 

Plaza Café Server
Serve coffee, donuts, bagels and other breakfast items.
Serving time: Shifts vary, Sunday mornings

 

CLASS Seminar Food Service
Coordinates and serves meals for monthly 101-401 CLASSes.
Serving time: Evening, one Sunday/month

 

CLASS Setup and Greeting Team
Set up classrooms and materials and greet guests for monthly 101-401 CLASSes.
Serving time: Afternoon, one Sunday/month

 

Lawn Care
Mow & trim grass.
Serving time: 7:00 – 10:00 AM Saturdays, every other week

 

Ramada Setup
Put out tables and supplies and unlock patio furniture.
Serving time: 6:30 – 7:30 AM, Sundays

 

Stewardship
Process and deposit stewardship funds.
Serving time: During one of the weekend services

 

Audio Tape
Duplicate and sell sermon outlines and audio tapes.
Serving time: 15 minutes before services and 20 minutes after services

 

Drama
Touch people’s lives by dealing with everyday issues and providing a message of hope in Jesus through drama.
Serving time: Varies according to need

 

Band
Provide instrumental backup for worship service.
Serving time: All weekend services, on a rotation

 

Vocal Team
Perform on stage in the worship service.
Serving time: All weekend services, on a rotation

 

Sound Tech
Operate the sound board for services and programs held in the worship center.
Serving time: During one of the weekend services, on a rotation

 

Video
Oversee video coverage of services and produce footage for other ministries
Serving time: During one of the weekend services and as needed

 

Deaf Translation
Provide sign language translation.
Serving time: 10:45 AM Sunday service

 

Choir
Perform on stage periodically in the worship service.
Serving time: Varies, weekends

 

Faithful Heart
Sing in an all-woman group to provide music in a variety of places including Village Oaks and worship center.
Serving time: Varies

 

Crossroads
Meet with people to discuss how they can have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Serving time: After weekend service

 

Hispanic Church
Serve the Hispanic community in and around Chandler.
Serving time: Sunday afternoons and as needed

 

Ministry Central Advisor
Help people find a meaningful place to serve based on their spiritual SHAPE.
Serving time: After weekend services, on a rotation and at CLASS 301, one Sunday/month

 

Military Ministry
Staff information table for special collection projects.
Serving time: Periodically on weekends

 

ChildrenStudents

Nursery/Toddler
Help provide a safe and loving environment for children up to 3.
Serving time: Weekend services or midweek, w/ one month on & off.

 

Early Childhood
Help children ages 4 years to kindergarten know they are loved and valued by God.
Serving time: Weekend services or midweek

 

Kingdom Kids
Help with on-campus child care for infants through 3rd grade during on-campus programming. Needs: paid workers and teachers
Serving time: Varies

Elementary
Help with programming for children 1st – 6th grade. Choose direct or indirect contact with kids.
Serving time: Weekend services or midweek

 

Break-Out Wednesday Night
Help kids 3rd-6th grade to deepen their relationship with God.
Serving time: 6:45 – 8:00 PM, Wednesdays, August - May

God Squad
Help inspire and teach kids in 1st-6th grade through the use of music, drama and multimedia.
Serving time: During one of the weekend services

 

Jr. High
Participate in studies and activities for 7th and 8th graders.
Serving time: 9:00 AM Sundays or 7:00 PM Thursdays

Sr. High
Participate in studies and activities for students in 9th – 12th grade.
Serving time: Weekdays or weekends

 

Student Ministries
Help design worship and learning experiences for students in junior or senior high and college.
Serving time: 9:00 – 10:45 AM, Sundays
