Pastors
For the past 25 years Roger Storms has served as the Senior Pastor of Chandler Christian Church, a non-denominational church in the Southeast Valley of the Phoenix-Metro area. Under his leadership the congregants have increased from an average of 120 to nearly 2,700 and the church’s staff has increased from 1 to over 40 full-time employees. During this time, the congregation relocated from a facility they had met in for 34 years to a school and then to their present 30 acre, 100,000 sq. ft. facility at 1825 S. Alma School Road. The latest facility is “The Bridge” – a youth outreach facility including a cafe, gym, video game room, skate park & climbing wall.
He received a Bachelors of Sacred Literature (BSL) from Ozark Christian College and has completed course work at California Graduate School of Theology, Cincinnati Bible Seminary and Pacific Christian Seminary.
He has served on the Boards of the United Christian Youth Camp, the North American Christian Convention, the Arizona Evangelistic Association, and the Hemophilia Associations in Northern California, Oklahoma, and Arizona among others. Presently, he serves as a consultant for Project New Hope, International, Central Indian Christian Mission and as a Trustee at Ozark Christian College. He has traveled doing missions work, preaching and teaching in Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa and South America.
Pastor Storms continues in a 38 year marriage to his wife, Nancy and they reside in Chandler, Arizona. They have a married daughter, Ashley Arp, four grandchildren: Brisbynne, Thatcher, and Reeghan and Caynaan; who reside nearby in Chandler, Arizona. In 1996 the Storms’ son, Jeremiah passed away at age 15. He was born with the genetic disorder, Classic Hemophilia and acquired the HIV virus and AIDS as a result of blood transfusion.
What in the world is an Executive Pastor? Good question, I’m not always completely sure either. The simplest description I have come up with is CCC’s “chief of staff.” I oversee the entire staff on behalf of Pastor Roger. This also includes the Caring Ministries as my direct responsibility, which includes our local and global missions. Sue and I have been married for 36 years and came to CCC along with our three kids, Matt, Sheri, and Mark in 1996. God (using specific circumstances, Pastor Roger and others) called me into full-time ministry in October 2001. Christ Jesus commands the local church body to “love God and love others” and “go and make disciples of all nations” which are the greatest causes to devote the rest of my life to as part of this local church family. Thank you for the opportunity to serve here and beyond.
Hi. I am the Pastor of Support and Recovery ministries as well as a member of the Connecting Team. I also oversee Pastoral Care, Men’s and Women’s ministries. I have a passion for helping people struggling with real life issues and pointing them to the One that can make all the difference in their lives, Jesus Christ. He doesn’t promise that He will “fix” everything in our lives, but He does say that He will be there with us in difficult times. I grew up in Central Illinois and have been a Christian since my teen age years. Along with my wife Carol and our four sons we served as missionaries in England for seven years and I have been a Pastor at CCC since 2003 having served in full time ministry since 1981.
Hello! I am recent transplant to the Valley of the Sun from Kentucky, and yes the grass back home really does look blue. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Emily for 10 years. God chose to bless us with two tiny divas, Stella and Vivian who’ve added plenty of spice and lots of drama to our lives. I am a rabid avid University of Kentucky (the real Wildcats) basketball fan. I graduated from Johnson University in 2002 and Dallas Theological Seminary in 2008 (Thus, the love of all things Texan and proud wearer of Cowboy Boots). I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, boating, water skiing, snow skiing and camping. Emily and I look forward to serving you and helping you get connected to the CCC faith family.
I joined the staff in Oct 2004. I am currently the Pastor of Student Ministries. My Wife, Kristee and I have 3 awesome boys- Eli, Noah and Jonah. I like to play sports and spend time with my family when I am not working.
I moved to Arizona and joined the staff at CCC in September 2008. My family moved here with me which makes me happy! Kristi became my bride 24 years ago and we have two teenage sons, Zachary and Michael. I have a great job planning the worship experiences for our weekend services at CCC. In addition to ministry here at CCC, I am a part-time soldier in the Chaplain Corp of the Arizona Army National Guard. I enjoy watching my sons play sports and music, and working with them on classic cars.
Greetings! I am your Children’s Pastor dedicated to partnering with you, the parents in laying a spiritual foundation so that your child will naturally develop an ever-deepening relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe in providing children a ministry experience that incites WONDER, provokes DISCOVERY and fuels their PASSION! I’ve been doing just that since 1998 (at CCC since 2012). I am blessed with an amazingly gifted bride, Karen, and together we intentionally raise two children, Jack (2007) and Cambria (2010). I grew up in Southern California, climbed the tallest mountain in Texas with a one year old on my back and I’ve dabble a bit in amateur balloon bending (balloon animals mostly). What is my greatest accomplishment? Easy, trading all my sin for Christ’s righteousness, is there any better deal out there?!
Born and raised in God’s chosen land (Indiana – do I even need to clarify?), I moved to Arizona in 2006. I have a degree in Biblical Literature from Ozark Christian College and lead the College/Young Adult ministry. In my free time I listen to music, play music, read, and fight evil customer service representatives for every penny they try to steal.
I joined the staff of CCC in 1997 as the Pastor of Worship and Fine Arts. Before coming to CCC, I enjoyed teaching at Manhattan Christian College and KSU, as well as playing music professionally. Although I’ve lived all over the country, I call Pittsburgh home and bleed Black and Gold during football season. My wife Mary Lou and I are celebrating our 35th anniversary this August. We have two grown daughters, Erin and Kris and three grandchildren, Summer, Micah and Jett. We both love to travel (especially on our motorcycles), and spend time with our kids and grandkids.
I joined the staff at CCC in July, 2004. I grew up in Oklahoma and yes, am an OU Sooners fan. My wife is Shanna and we’ve been married since 1997. We have two Beautiful girls named Emma and Ally. Here at Chandler I work in adult ministries, helping teach the Bible leading in the area of family and dicsipleship.
Lisa Spidle is the Pastor of Early Childhood Ministries. She oversees a team of volunteers who teach preschoolers during our weekend services. Lisa loves seeing volunteers growing closer to God as they minister to little ones and seeing preschoolers worship God during praise and worship time. “There is so much joy in their little faces when they are doing that!” In addition to overseeing the preschool area, Lisa is in charge of the MOPS ministry at CCC. MOPS supports mothers of preschoolers to be better moms to their children. Lisa enjoys encouraging moms in this season of their lives. A member of CCC for over 25 years Lisa has seen God bless this church in many ways. Lisa is married to John (also on staff) and has 4 grown children.

“After an 18 year hiatus from being a “zany zonie,” I returned to the Valley of the Sun in March of 2010 and somehow convinced the executive staff and worship team of Chandler Christian Church to hire me (there was LOTS of pleading involved. I’m not proud of it, but it did get me the job.) I’m a 20 year veteran of film and TV production, making a tour from Arizona to Texas to Atlanta and now I feel blessed to have made it back to my roots in the desert. I look forward to adding whatever I can to the worship experience through great video and inspired story-telling on CCC’s super-duper widescreen!
Jim is a retired CPA. He is married and has 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He has lived in Arizona for over 50 years. Jim has stated that Chandler Christian Church and Roger Storms have changed his life by leading him to a stronger faith in Jesus Christ. He is thrilled to be working for the church and finds it much more rewarding than any job he has ever had.

I have been married to my husband Robert since 1995 and we have two beautiful and entertaining children. I am a native to Arizona, and while I don’t enjoy the heat, my entire family (including all the in-laws) live here, so I remain! Although, you might catch me daydreaming about the beach from time-to-time!
